Fulzos 250mg Injection contains fulvestrant as its active ingredient. It is an antineoplastic medication that belongs to a class of drugs called estrogen receptor antagonists. Estrogen, a natural female sex hormone, can contribute to the development and progression of certain types of breast cancer. This injection is used to treat postmenopausal women with estrogen receptor-positive (ER-positive) breast cancer that is locally advanced or has metastasized (spread to other parts of the body). It can be administered alone or in combination with other anticancer agents for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR-positive), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HER2-negative) breast cancer in advanced stages.

Do not use Fulzos 250mg Injection if you are allergic to fulvestrant or any of its ingredients, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have severe liver impairment. Before starting the treatment, inform your healthcare provider if you have a history of liver or kidney problems, bone disorders (such as osteoporosis), bleeding disorders, or cardiovascular disease. This medication is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. If you experience symptoms such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, seek immediate medical attention as these may indicate a serious allergic reaction.

Common side effects of Fulzos 250mg Injection include pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site, elevated liver enzyme levels, nausea, headache, fatigue, joint or muscle pain, hot flashes, hair loss, skin rashes, and cough. Your doctor may recommend regular blood tests during your treatment to monitor your liver function and overall health. This injection may also increase the risk of bleeding and liver complications. Women of reproductive potential should use effective contraception during treatment and for at least two years after receiving the last dose to prevent pregnancy
