Altraz Tablet

Altraz 1mg tablet is an anticancer medication that contains Anastrozole. It falls under the category of aromatase inhibitors. This drug is prescribed for the treatment of hormone-dependent breast cancer in women who have gone through menopause. Aromatase inhibitors work by lowering estrogen levels, as they inhibit an enzyme in fat tissue that converts other hormones into estrogen. This treatment aids in postponing the return of early-stage breast cancer.

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, fever, itching, joint inflammation (arthritis), bone density loss (osteoporosis), vaginal bleeding, hypersensitivity, and pain in the joints, stomach, and kidneys.

If you have an allergy to Anastrozole or any of its components, inform your doctor prior to beginning treatment with this drug. Additionally, notify your doctor if you are still menstruating and have not yet reached menopause, if you have osteoporosis, or if you have any issues with your liver or kidneys. If you are lactose intolerant, please consult your physician before using this medication. This medicine should not be taken if you are pregnant or nursing.
