Mozifor 24mg injection is an antineoplastic that contains Plerixafor as its active ingredient. It is utilized for the collection, storage, and transplantation of blood stem cells. Additionally, it is indicated for lymphoma (a type of white blood cell cancer), multiple myeloma (cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow), or solid tumors. Consult your doctor if you have a history of heart disease.

Before commencing treatment, inform your doctor if you have elevated white blood cell counts, low platelet counts, or a tendency to experience lightheadedness or fainting, particularly prior to the injection. This medication is not recommended for stem cell mobilization in patients with leukemia.

Avoid taking this tablet if you are allergic to Plerixafor or any other components of the medication. Inform your doctor if you have kidney issues; they may need to adjust the Mozifor 24mg dosage if you have pre-existing kidney conditions. Your doctor may also conduct regular blood tests to monitor your blood cell levels. Do not use this tablet if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, suspect you might be pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding. It is advisable to employ effective contraception. Notify your doctor if you experience any side effects such as rashes or swelling around the eyes, changes in breathing (such as a lack of oxygen), or pain in the upper left abdomen or left shoulder.
