Temotero 250mg Capsule contains temozolomide as its active ingredient. This medication falls under the category of Antitumor agents. It is used to treat brain cancer, specifically glioblastoma multiforme in adults and malignant glioma, which includes glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma in patients over three years of age. Glioblastoma and anaplastic astrocytoma are among the most prevalent and aggressive forms of brain cancer, associated with low survival rates. Anaplastic astrocytoma is managed with Temotero 250mg Capsule or radiotherapy following a biopsy, while Glioblastoma multiforme is treated with a combination of radiotherapy and Temotero 250mg Capsule, which is continued as maintenance therapy.

The common side effects associated with Temotero 250mg Capsule may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, constipation, hair loss, rashes, fatigue, frequent urination, vision and hearing issues, elevated blood sugar levels, muscle damage, pain in muscles and joints, memory impairment, coordination difficulties, infections, sleep disturbances, and weight loss.
