It is advised against using Ebunat 0.5mg Injection if you have a known allergy to Eribulin or any of its components. Please consult your healthcare provider if you think this may be relevant to you. This medication is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age, as its effects in this demographic are not well understood. Prior to commencing treatment, it is essential to inform your doctor if you have a fever, infections, or any liver or heart conditions. Additionally, provide a comprehensive overview of your medical history and current medications before starting the treatment.

Eribulin inhibits the proliferation and dissemination of cancer cells by specifically targeting the growth phase of microtubules, which are vital structures that facilitate cell division. It halts their growth while leaving their shrinking phase unaffected. Furthermore, it induces tubulin, a crucial protein for cell division, to aggregate in a manner that interferes with the process of cell division. This ultimately results in the obstruction of the cell cycle (G2/M phase), disrupting the assembly of essential structures for cell division (mitotic spindles) and initiating cell death via apoptosis.

Notify your healthcare provider regarding all the medications you are currently taking, which includes prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Some medications may interact with Ebunat 0.5mg Injection, potentially diminishing its effectiveness and leading to unwanted side effects.

Your healthcare provider will administer the Ebunat 0.5mg Injection to you. This injection is delivered directly into a vein (intravenous infusion) in a specific cycle. The healthcare provider will decide the appropriate dose, duration, and frequency based on factors such as your age, body weight, and the severity of your condition. If you happen to forget or miss a dose of your Ebunat 0.5mg Injection cycle, please schedule another appointment at your earliest convenience. Do not postpone until your next scheduled visit. It is important not to discontinue the treatment without consulting your physician.

Should you experience diarrhea while on Ebunat 0.5mg Injection, aim to consume at least 2 liters of fluids each day and steer clear of alcohol, caffeine, dairy products, as well as high-fat and high-fiber foods. In the event of constipation, increase your fluid intake, eat high-fiber foods, and participate in regular light exercise. Reach out to the hospital for guidance; your doctor may suggest laxatives to alleviate constipation. If you experience a decrease in appetite, it is normal for it to last a day or two, but if it continues or if you are losing weight, notify your nurse or dietitian for assistance. They may propose supplements, dietary modifications, or changes to your eating habits to help manage these concerns.
