Tegonat 15 Capsule is prescribed for the treatment of stomach or gastric cancer. This type of cancer begins in the cells that line the stomach. Symptoms may include a feeling of fullness after meals, nausea, heartburn, or indigestion.

Tegonat 15 Capsule contains a combination of Tegafur, Gimeracil, and Oteracil, which function by inhibiting genetic material and preventing the proliferation of cancer cells. As a result, it aids in the treatment of stomach cancer.

In certain instances, Tegonat 15 Capsule may lead to side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and constipation. It is important to consult your doctor if any side effects persist or worsen.

Avoid using Tegonat 15 Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is also not advised for children, as its safety and effectiveness have not been established. Ensure that your doctor is aware of your health status and any medications you are taking to avoid potential side effects or interactions.

Advanced gastric (stomach) cancer: Tegonat 15 Capsule is used in the treatment of Advanced gastric (stomach) cancer.

Tegonat 15mg Capsules inhibit the growth and division of cancer cells, improve the effectiveness of the treatment, and reduce the risk of side effects, thereby providing therapeutic benefits to cancer patients.

Notify your healthcare provider of all medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Some medications may interact with Tegonat 15mg Capsule, potentially diminishing its effectiveness and leading to unwanted side effects.

Tegonat 15 Capsule can be taken 1 hour before or after a meal.
It is usually taken 2 times a day, in the morning and evening, for the duration prescribed by your doctor.
Swallow Tegonat 15 Capsule as a whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush, chew, or open it.

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.• Keep Tegonat 15 Capsule out of reach and sight of children. • Non cold chain - To be stored in cool places at 10ºC to 25ºC or below 30ºC.

Serious:

Infection (fever, chills, sore throat, cough, flu-like symptoms)
Bleeding or bruising (nosebleeds, bleeding gums)
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Chest pain
Irregular heartbeat
Seizures
Allergic reaction (swelling of the face, tongue, or throat; difficulty breathing)
Liver problems (yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, abdominal pain)
Kidney problems (changes in urine output, swelling of the hands or feet)

Do not use Tegonat 15 Capsule if you are allergic to any of its ingredients, if you are pregnant or nursing, if you have a history of severe and unexpected reactions to fluoropyrimidine therapy, known dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD) deficiency, severe bone marrow suppression, or end-stage renal disease that requires dialysis.

Notify your doctor if you experience bone marrow suppression, diarrhea, dehydration, or have kidney or liver issues, or eye toxicity. Tegonat 15 Capsule is not advised for children under 18 years of age. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications, including supplements and herbal products.
