Tipanat 20 Tablet is a combination medication that includes Trifluridine, a nucleoside metabolic inhibitor, and Tipiracil, a thymidine phosphorylase inhibitor. It is prescribed for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer who have previously undergone other treatments, such as chemotherapy.

Tipanat 20 Tablet combines Trifluridine and Tipiracil. Trifluridine is classified as a thymidine-based nucleoside analogue, functioning by inhibiting the growth and division of cancer cells. Tipiracil acts as a thymidine phosphorylase inhibitor, which aids in prolonging the activity of trifluridine in the body by slowing its breakdown. This enhances its effectiveness against cancer cells.

It is important to take Tipanat 20 Tablet according to the dosage and duration recommended by your physician. Consuming it at a consistent time with food is advised to maximize its effectiveness. You may experience side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, headaches, fatigue, and muscle or bone pain.
