Valcivir 1000 Tablet is utilized for the treatment of viral infections. It is essential in managing cold sores (an inflamed blister around the mouth caused by the herpes simplex virus), genital herpes (a prevalent sexually transmitted infection characterized by genital pain and sores), and herpes zoster (a viral infection that leads to a painful rash).

Valcivir 1000 Tablet contains valacyclovir, which functions by inhibiting the replication of viruses within human cells, thereby halting their proliferation and the formation of new viruses.

Occasionally, you may encounter side effects such as headaches, dizziness, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, and increased sensitivity of the skin to sunlight. Most of these side effects are not serious and typically resolve on their own over time. However, if these effects persist, it is advisable to consult your doctor.

Do not administer Valcivir 1000 Tablet if you have an allergy to Valcivir 1000 Tablet, valacyclovir, or any of its components. It is important to use protection during sexual intercourse to prevent the transmission of genital herpes (a sexually transmitted disease) to your partner.
