ITP is an autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks and destroys platelets. Platelets are essential blood cells that facilitate clotting and safeguard the walls of blood vessels. A deficiency in platelet levels can lead to significant bleeding and bruising. Additionally, this tablet is prescribed to adults for treating low blood counts associated with severe aplastic anemia, a critical blood disorder characterized by the bone marrow’s inability to produce sufficient new blood cells.

This medication is contraindicated for individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to the drug or its components. Should you discontinue the use of this tablet, your blood platelet count is likely to decrease again within a few days.
