Nintib 150mg capsules contain the active ingredient Nintedanib. This medication is classified as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It is used to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, chronic fibrosing interstitial lung disease, and interstitial lung disease associated with systemic sclerosis.
If you are taking blood-thinning medications or have recently had surgery, consult your physician. It is important to use effective contraception while on Nintib 150mg and to continue for three months after your last dose. Speak with your doctor about suitable contraceptive methods, as birth control pills may not be effective for women in this situation.
Before beginning treatment with Nintib 150 capsules, inform your doctor of any existing medical conditions, particularly liver or heart issues. Your doctor may perform liver function tests regularly during the first three months of treatment. If you have a history of bleeding or blood clots (arterial thromboembolic), notify your doctor. Nintib 150mg can lead to liver function impairment (hepatic impairment) and embryo-fetal toxicity.
Consult your doctor if you have any of these underlying conditions. Common side effects associated with Nintib 150mg capsules include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, skin ulcers, gastrointestinal perforation, altered liver function tests, decreased appetite, headaches, weight loss, and hypertension. If you experience any side effects, inform your doctor immediately.
