This medication is indicated for the treatment of stage 3 colon cancer following the surgical removal of the primary tumor, as well as metastatic cancer of the colon and rectum. It is typically administered alongside other anti-cancer therapies. Colorectal cancer primarily arises in the rectum and large intestine, stemming from a buildup of various genetic mutations. Both genetic and environmental factors significantly contribute to the development of colorectal cancer. This drug is effective against tumors that do not respond to cisplatin treatment.

Common side effects associated with Oxalimax 50mg Injection may include a decrease in blood cell count, a sensation of discomfort in the throat, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, heartburn, blood clots, hematuria, hypertension, depression, insomnia, and low calcium levels.
