Glioz 250mg Capsule contains temozolomide as its active ingredient. This medication falls under the category of Antitumor agents. It is used to treat brain cancer, including glioblastoma multiforme in adults and malignant glioma, which encompasses glioblastoma multiforme or anaplastic astrocytoma in patients over three years of age. Glioblastoma and anaplastic astrocytoma are among the most prevalent and aggressive forms of brain cancer, associated with low survival rates. Anaplastic astrocytoma is managed with Glioz 250mg Capsule or radiotherapy following a biopsy, while Glioblastoma multiforme is treated using a combination of radiotherapy and Glioz 250mg Capsule, which is then continued as maintenance therapy.
