Cislieva 10mg Injection is classified as an alkylating agent. It is an antineoplastic medication that contains Cisplatin as its active ingredient. This injection is used to treat specific types of cancer, including testicular, ovarian, bladder, lung, cervical, and head and neck epithelial tumors, either alone or in combination with radiotherapy.
If you have an allergy to Cisplatin or any of its components, inform your doctor prior to starting this treatment. Additionally, notify your doctor if you experience hypersensitivity, myelosuppression (a decrease in blood cell count), or hearing issues. Cislieva 10mg injections should not be administered if you have recently received a live vaccine, such as the yellow fever vaccine. Therefore, it is important to inform your doctor if you plan to get vaccinated.
Make sure to inform your doctor if you exhibit any signs of nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) or if you have undergone any radiotherapy to the head. This medication may lead to complications affecting your kidneys, liver, and blood. Consequently, your doctor may conduct regular blood tests to monitor your blood, kidney, and liver functions. Both men and women are advised to use effective contraception during the course of this treatment and for six months following the last dose. It is important to note that Cislieva 10mg Injection may cause permanent fertility reduction in men, so it is recommended to seek advice regarding fertility issues from your doctor.
