ETBMED Tablets 100mg

ETBmed 100mg Tablet is an anticancer medication that contains the active ingredient erlotinib. It is prescribed for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and pancreatic cancer. Cancer is characterized by the uncontrolled and abnormal proliferation of cells. This medication is typically administered alongside another anticancer drug, gemcitabine, for patients suffering from metastatic or advanced pancreatic cancers.

Patients should inform their doctor if they wear contact lenses, have a sugar intolerance, have a history of eye issues, or are taking any medications for clotting disorders or cholesterol. This medication may lead to dry eyes and conjunctivitis, so it is crucial for patients to disclose any history of vision problems and contact lens usage prior to starting treatment. ETBmed 100mg Tablet is not advised for adolescents and children under 18 years of age. It should not be taken with food. Effective birth control methods should be employed during treatment and for at least two weeks following the final dose.

Patients are strongly advised against smoking while undergoing treatment with ETBmed 100mg Tablet, as smoking can reduce the concentration of the medication in the bloodstream. It is also recommended to wear protective clothing and apply sunscreen when outdoors. Patients should notify their physician if they experience any symptoms such as eye pain, blurred vision, cough, fever, shortness of breath, severe abdominal pain, or persistent diarrhea while on this medication.
