Versavo 400mg Injection contains Bevacizumab, an anticancer agent designed to inhibit tumor growth. It is used in combination with other chemotherapy drugs to treat various cancers, including metastatic breast cancer, brain cancer, cervical cancer, kidney cancer, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer. It is also prescribed for ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancers.
This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Women planning to conceive should speak with their doctor about ovarian preservation, as Versavo may affect fertility. Effective contraception must be used during treatment and for at least six months after the final dose. Breastfeeding is also discouraged, as the drug could potentially interfere with the baby’s growth and development.
Versavo 400mg Injection is typically given alongside other chemotherapy agents. Common side effects include constipation, loss of appetite, runny nose, fever, skin reactions, and weight loss. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, gastrointestinal conditions, or heart issues.
Since this medication can impair wound healing and increase the risk of bleeding, it should not be used within 28 days before or after any surgical procedure. Inform your doctor about any dental problems that may require surgery before beginning treatment. If you experience symptoms like vision changes or confusion, report them to your healthcare provider immediately to avoid serious complications.
