ALIZAP

Alizap Tablet is indicated for the treatment of plaque psoriasis (characterized by scaly, itchy, and red skin patches), psoriatic arthritis (joint inflammation in individuals with psoriasis), and oral ulcers. Psoriasis is a chronic, painful, non-contagious, debilitating, and damaging condition. It can occur at any age, but is most prevalent among individuals aged 50 to 69. Psoriatic arthritis is a form of arthritis that affects some individuals who have psoriasis.

Alizap Tablet contains Apremilast, which is a phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor. This medication functions by inhibiting the action of certain chemical messengers that contribute to inflammation associated with psoriatic arthritis (joint inflammation in those with psoriasis) and psoriasis (scaly, itchy, and red skin patches), thereby reducing the signs and symptoms of these disorders.

It is important to take Alizap Tablet as directed by your healthcare provider. You should continue taking Alizap Tablet for the duration prescribed by your doctor, based on your medical conditions. Possible side effects may include diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, weight loss, and back pain. Most of these side effects do not necessitate medical intervention and typically resolve on their own over time. However, if any side effects persist, please consult your physician.

Alizap Tablet should not be used in individuals with depression, as it may exacerbate suicidal thoughts. Prior to initiating treatment with Alizap Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any allergies to this medication or its components. The use of Alizap Tablet is not recommended for children and adolescents under the age of 17. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek your doctor’s advice before using Alizap Tablet. This medication does not impair your ability to drive or operate machinery.
