Aretha Tablet is utilized to alleviate pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis and to prevent the immune system from attacking newly transplanted organs, such as kidneys. Additionally, it addresses pain and inflammation related to gastrointestinal disorders like Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis in patients who have received a kidney transplant.
The active ingredient in Aretha Tablet, ‘Azathioprine’, functions by diminishing the activity of cells that cause inflammation, particularly in joint tissues. This action helps to reduce pain and inflammation while also slowing the progression of joint damage and disease over time. Furthermore, following an organ transplant, the body may attempt to reject the new organ, perceiving it as foreign. Aretha Tablet aids in preventing this rejection by suppressing the immune response.
It is important to take Aretha Tablet exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage based on your specific medical condition. Some patients may experience common side effects, including nausea, headaches, vomiting, diarrhea, unusual fatigue, dizziness, loss of appetite, elevated liver enzymes, decreased resistance to infections, tingling sensations, stomach pain, leukopenia (a reduction in white blood cell count), and sore throat. Most of these side effects are not serious and will typically resolve on their own over time. However, if you experience any of these side effects persistently, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
To effectively manage your condition, continue taking Aretha Tablet for the duration prescribed by your doctor. Avoid discontinuing the medication prematurely to prevent the recurrence of symptoms. Aretha Tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy or if you are planning to become pregnant. Breastfeeding mothers should also avoid this medication, as it can be transmitted through breast milk. Additionally, Aretha Tablet is not suitable for children, as its safety and effectiveness have not been established in this population. Be aware that Aretha Tablet may increase your susceptibility to infections; therefore, consult your doctor if you notice any signs of severe conditions, such as fever, sore throat, or difficulty breathing.
