Asporelix 0.25mg Injection is classified as a hormone medication used to address female infertility in women. Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive after one year of trying. Various factors can contribute to female infertility, impacting ovulation (the release of an egg from the ovary), fertilization (the merging of sperm and egg), and implantation (the attachment of the fertilized egg to the uterine lining).
If eggs are released prematurely during fertility treatments, they may not be viable for fertilization. Asporelix 0.25mg Injection contains Cetrorelix, an anti-gonadotropin-releasing hormone that functions by inhibiting a natural hormone in the body. This action prevents premature ovulation (the early release of eggs from the ovary).
Administer Asporelix 0.25mg Injection as directed by your healthcare provider. It is recommended to continue using Asporelix 0.25mg Injection for the duration prescribed by your doctor, based on your specific medical condition. Some individuals may experience side effects such as itching, redness, or swelling at the injection site, headaches, or nausea. Most of these side effects associated with Asporelix 0.25mg Injection do not necessitate medical intervention and typically resolve on their own over time. However, if side effects persist or worsen, it is important to consult your physician.
If you have a known allergy to Asporelix 0.25mg Injection or any other medications, inform your doctor. Refrain from using Asporelix 0.25mg Injection if you are pregnant or nursing, and seek medical advice before starting this medication. Should you experience lower abdominal pain accompanied by nausea or vomiting, consult a doctor immediately, as these symptoms may indicate ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome (OHSS).
