These scaly patches consist of dead skin cells that typically shed from the skin unnoticed.

The active ingredient in Calpsor Ointment is calcipotriol, also referred to as calcipotriene, which is a synthetic derivative of Vitamin D. This ointment functions by diminishing the excessive production of skin cells, thereby alleviating the inflamed and scaly regions.

It is essential to use this medication as directed by your healthcare provider. Calpsor Ointment is generally considered safe for use. However, some individuals may experience common side effects such as itching, redness, a stinging sensation, dryness, and rashes.
