Common side effects associated with this medication include loss of appetite, headaches, runny nose, fever, hair loss, and dry mouth. Throughout the treatment, your physician may periodically check your complete blood counts, prothrombin time, and INR to avert serious complications. It is important to inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, cataracts, lung disease, or issues related to your heart, liver, skin, or kidneys. Notify your physician prior to undergoing any eye surgeries or dental procedures. Also, inform your doctor if you have experienced any allergic or unusual reactions after taking this tablet. Capnat 500mg Tablet is not advised for use in children and adolescents. This medication should not be administered if you have a low white blood cell or platelet count, chickenpox, shingles, or a deficiency in the enzyme DPD (dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase). It is recommended to take this medication within thirty minutes after completing a meal. This drug may cause fetal harm if given to a pregnant woman.
