EQUIRAB INJECTION 5ML comprises ‘immunoglobulins’, which are antibodies that combat rabies. It serves to prevent rabies post-exposure by neutralizing the rabies virus. Generally, it is not necessary for individuals who have been vaccinated against rabies.

EQUIRAB INJECTION 5ML is given by a healthcare professional. Common side effects of EQUIRAB INJECTION 5ML include temporary discomfort or a hardened area at the injection site, chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, facial swelling, mouth ulcers, chills, a coated tongue, and joint pain. Notify your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any allergic reactions such as facial swelling, shortness of breath, hives (urticaria), wheezing, or flushing (reddening of the face) after receiving this injection. Additionally, inform your doctor if you feel unwell after taking this medication.
