Exnib 5mg Tablet, containing Tofacitinib, is a disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) classified as an immunomodulator. It’s used either alone or with other medications to treat several chronic inflammatory conditions.

This medication helps adults with rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune condition causing joint pain, swelling, and loss of function, especially when other treatments haven’t worked or aren’t tolerated. It also treats psoriatic arthritis, which causes joint pain, swelling, and skin scales. Exnib 5mg Tablet is also indicated for adults with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis.

Other uses for Exnib 5mg Tablet include ankylosing spondylitis, an inflammatory disease of the spine. It also treats active polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis in patients aged 2 years and older, a long-term condition mainly causing joint pain and swelling. The medicine works by decreasing the activity of the immune system, thereby reducing inflammation and symptoms.

It’s crucial to inform your physician if you have a severe blood infection, active tuberculosis, or liver problems. Also, notify your doctor if you have ever had or currently have a hepatitis B infection, as this medicine could reactivate it.

You should not take Exnib 5mg Tablet if you are allergic to tofacitinib or any other ingredients. Inform your healthcare professional immediately if you experience any symptoms of an infection, such as fever, sweating, chills, muscle aches, cough, shortness of breath, weight loss, skin sores, difficulty or pain when swallowing, diarrhea, or stomach pain.
