FEMPRO TABLETS

Fempro Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of breast cancer in women who have experienced menopause (the end of menstrual periods). Breast cancer is a form of cancer that arises in breast cells that are stimulated by the female hormone known as estrogen.

Fempro Tablet contains ‘Letrozole’, which functions by inhibiting the aromatase enzyme responsible for the production of estrogen.

In certain instances, Fempro Tablet may lead to common side effects such as hypercholesterolemia (elevated cholesterol levels), fatigue, weakness, increased perspiration, malaise, joint pain, and hot flashes (a sensation of warmth). Do not hesitate to consult your doctor if you encounter any of these side effects persistently.

You should take Fempro Tablet for the duration prescribed by your doctor, based on your medical condition. It can be ingested with or without food, accompanied by a glass of water. Do not chew, bite, or crush the tablet.

Refrain from using Fempro Tablet if you have an allergy to it, or if you are pregnant or nursing. Fempro Tablet may induce drowsiness and dizziness, so only drive if you feel alert. This medication should not be administered to children, as its safety has not been confirmed. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Fempro Tablet, as it may enhance drowsiness and dizziness. Inform your doctor about your health status and any medications you are taking to prevent potential side effects.
