Hucog HP 1000IU Injection is a hormonal therapy classified as a luteinizing hormone (LH) analogue and contains the active ingredient gonadotrophin. It is commonly prescribed as part of fertility treatments. In women, it is used to trigger ovulation, particularly during assisted reproductive procedures such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). In men, it helps stimulate testosterone production in those with hypogonadism—a condition where the body does not produce enough testosterone. Additionally, it is used to assist in the treatment of undescended testicles, promoting the movement of the testes to their proper position.

The most commonly reported side effects include pain, swelling, or redness at the injection site, headache, fatigue, depression, and fluid retention. While these effects are generally mild, inform your healthcare provider if they become bothersome or persist. This medication may also increase the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), a potentially serious condition. Seek immediate medical advice if you experience lower abdominal pain, sudden weight gain, or difficulty breathing.
