Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension is classified as a ‘haematinic’ medication, primarily utilized for the treatment of anaemia, which is characterized by a deficiency of iron and haemoglobin. This deficiency often arises from inadequate dietary intake, poor nutrient absorption, or increased folate requirements during pregnancy. Anaemia is a medical condition where the body lacks sufficient red blood cells to transport the necessary oxygen to various tissues throughout the body.

Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension is a combination medication that includes Iron and Folic acid (a haematinics combination) and is primarily indicated for the treatment of anaemia. It functions by enhancing the production of red blood cells (RBCs) within the body. Consequently, an adequate quantity of RBCs is generated, ensuring that each tissue in the body receives an ample supply of oxygen.

Administer Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Some individuals may experience side effects such as constipation, dry mouth, loss of appetite, bloating, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects are mild and do not necessitate medical intervention, typically resolving on their own over time. However, if any side effects persist or worsen, it is advisable to consult your physician.

Avoid taking Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension if you have a known allergy to it, iron, folic acid, or any of its components. Do not initiate any new medications without informing your doctor. It is generally recommended to start Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension at least 4 weeks prior to conception and continue for up to 3 months during pregnancy. If you have undergone any surgical removal of stomach parts, please notify your doctor before using Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension. Additionally, Jectocos Lipo Strawberry Suspension should be administered to children under 12 years of age only under strict medical supervision.
