Lynza 100mg Tablet is classified as a PARP (poly [adenosine diphosphate-ribose] polymerase) inhibitor, which is a type of cancer medication that contains Olaparib as its active ingredient. It is utilized for the treatment of pancreatic and prostate cancer. This medication may be administered on its own or in conjunction with other anticancer therapies.

It is important to avoid taking olaparib if you have an allergy to the active ingredient or any other components of the medication. If you experience symptoms such as breathlessness, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fever, cough, or wheezing, contact your doctor immediately. Your healthcare provider will perform blood tests prior to and monthly during the treatment, as this medication may lower the levels of red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells (WBC), and platelets. Before starting treatment, inform your healthcare provider if you have been diagnosed with any issues related to your lungs, liver, heart, or kidneys.

This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy, as it may pose risks to the fetus and could lead to miscarriage. Therefore, it is advised that women of childbearing age undergo a pregnancy test before starting this medication. It is also recommended to continue using birth control for at least six months after completing treatment. While undergoing treatment, breastfeeding is not recommended due to the uncertainty of whether Lynza 100mg Tablet can be transferred into breast milk. Additionally, men should refrain from donating sperm for at least three months following the conclusion of treatment. It is essential to inform your doctor about all medications you are currently taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and supplements.
