Pacliaqualip 100 mg Injection is a chemotherapy medication used in the treatment of various cancers such as breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer, and AIDS-related Kaposi’s sarcoma. It works by interfering with the growth and division of cancer cells, ultimately slowing or stopping their spread throughout the body. This injection can be used alone or in combination with other anticancer therapies, depending on the treatment plan your doctor prescribes.
However, it should not be used in patients with severely impaired liver function, ongoing uncontrolled infections, or significantly reduced white blood cell or platelet counts, as it could worsen these conditions or lead to serious complications.
This medication is not suitable for individuals under 18 years of age. If you have any existing heart issues, it is essential to inform your doctor, as close monitoring may be required during treatment. Due to the risk of severe allergic reactions, your doctor may premedicate you with antihistamines or corticosteroids before administering the injection.
Women of childbearing potential must use reliable contraception throughout the course of treatment and for at least six months after the last dose, as the drug can harm an unborn baby. Because the injection contains alcohol, it should be used with caution in individuals with alcohol-related disorders. Always follow your healthcare provider’s guidance closely while undergoing this treatment.
