This medication is utilized for the treatment of multiple myeloma in adults. Multiple myeloma is a form of cancer that primarily impacts certain white blood cells known as plasma cells. These cells proliferate uncontrollably and accumulate in the bone marrow, leading to damage to the bones and kidneys.

The common side effects associated with Pomide 1mg Capsule may include shortness of breath, fatigue, weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, back and bone pain, dizziness, tremors, upper respiratory tract infections, sleep disturbances, loss of appetite, low energy, muscle spasms, muscle weakness, numbness, tingling or burning sensations, low potassium levels in the blood, and anemia. It is important to inform your doctor if these side effects are bothersome or persist.

Notify your healthcare provider if you have an allergy to Pomide 1mg Capsule or any of its components. Additionally, inform your doctor if you have high cholesterol, heart conditions, respiratory issues, blood clotting disorders, hepatitis B infection, neuropathy (pain in the hands or feet due to nerve damage), or if you smoke before starting this chemotherapy treatment. This medication is not recommended for adolescents and children under the age of 18.
