Primcyv 125mg Capsule is prescribed for patients with specific types of breast cancer (estrogen receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative) that have spread to other parts of the body. It is administered alongside hormonal anticancer treatments.

You should take Primcyv 125mg Capsule with food, ideally at the same time each day for maximum benefit. Your doctor will determine the correct dosage and frequency, which may vary depending on your condition and could be adjusted over time. It’s crucial to follow your doctor’s instructions precisely, as incorrect use or an overdose can lead to severe side effects. While it may take several weeks or months to experience or observe the benefits, do not discontinue the medication unless your doctor advises you to.

Common side effects of this medicine include fatigue, hair loss, rash, vomiting, and diarrhea. This medication can lower your blood cell counts (red and white blood cells), making you more prone to infections. You should inform your doctor if you experience symptoms of infection such as fever, chills, weakness, bleeding or bruising, or a nosebleed. It might also cause dizziness, so if this occurs, avoid driving or activities requiring focus.

Before starting Primcyv 125mg Capsule, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, liver, or kidney problems, or are taking any medications for infections. Breast cancer

Primcyv 125mg Capsule operates by inhibiting cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6, which are proteins crucial for cell division and growth. By blocking these proteins, the medication impedes the growth and spread of cancer cells.

You must inform your doctor about all medicines you are taking or have taken previously, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products. For instance, taking Primcyv 125mg Capsule with CYP3A4 inhibitors like fentanyl has been shown to increase fentanyl toxicity. Other medications may also interact with this drug, potentially affecting its effectiveness.

Consume Primcyv 125mg Capsule precisely as your doctor instructs. Take it once daily at the same time, with food. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water, and do not crush, break, or chew it.

Store at 20°C to 25°C.
