Regonat 40 mg tablets include the active ingredient regorafenib. This medication is utilized in cancer treatment by inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells. The tablets are effective for colon or rectal cancer, specific forms of stomach and bowel cancer, as well as liver cancer. Consult your physician prior to using this medication if you have any liver issues, a history of or current bleeding disorders, serious stomach and bowel conditions, heart issues, or hypertension. Avoid using this medication if you have an allergy to regorafenib.

Colorectal cancer has started to spread to other parts of the body
Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) (a type of stomach and bowel cancer)
Liver cancer in adult patients who have already undergone treatment with Sorafenib

Regonat 40 mg tablets work by slowing down the growth and spread of cancer cells and cutting off their blood supply.

Notify your physician of all prescribed medications, over-the-counter drugs, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you are currently taking or have previously taken prior to the treatment. Some medications may interact with the Nublex 40 mg tablet and lead to unwanted side effects. The simultaneous use of this tablet with CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole (oral) and others may result in interactions with this medication.

Follow the exact dosage prescribed by your doctor. Do not crush, chew or break the Regonat 40 mg tablet. Swallow the tablet as a whole with water. Take the tablet with food.

Severely high blood pressure
Skin eruptions
Pancreatitis
Skin cancers
Confusion, Seizures, headaches, and vision loss with or without high blood pressure
Stevens-Johnson syndrome
Skin detachment
Enlargement of a blood vessel or a tear in a blood vessel

Common:

Reduced number of white blood cells
Hypothyroidism
Lowered levels of phosphate, potassium, calcium, sodium, or magnesium
Elevated level of uric acid in the blood
Dehydration
Headache and tremors
Disorder of the nerves that causes numbness, tingling, weakness, or pain (peripheral neuropathy)
Changes in taste, dry mouth
Heartburn
Gastroenteritis (inflammation and infection of the stomach)
Hair loss (alopecia)
Dry skin
Rashes
Muscle spasms
Protein in urine
Abnormal blood clotting condition

Consult with a physician if the patient has any liver issues, infections, bleeding disorders, gastrointestinal problems, chest discomfort, heart conditions, hypertension, ongoing headaches, seizures, or has recently undergone or is scheduled for surgery prior to using this medication. This medication is not advised for teenagers and children. Refrain from consuming grapefruit juice while on this medication, as it may diminish the effectiveness of the treatment. It is also advisable to avoid this medication if the patient is planning to conceive, is currently pregnant, or is breastfeeding, due to potential adverse effects on the developing fetus.
