Relugonat Tablet 30’s is prescribed for the management of advanced prostate cancer in adult male patients. Advanced prostate cancer refers to a form of cancer that has metastasized beyond the prostate gland to other areas of the body. It is also referred to as metastatic prostate cancer.

Relugonat Tablet 30’s contains Relugolix, which functions by inhibiting the production of testosterone, a hormone essential for the growth of prostate cancer cells. Consequently, it aids in slowing or halting the progression and dissemination of advanced prostate cancer.

In certain instances, Relugonat Tablet 30’s may lead to side effects such as hot flashes, muscle discomfort, joint pain, diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, insomnia, and breast enlargement. Most of these side effects do not necessitate medical intervention and will gradually subside over time. However, it is advisable to consult a physician if any of these side effects persist or worsen.

Avoid taking Relugonat Tablet 30’s if you have an allergy to any of its ingredients. This medication may induce fatigue and drowsiness; therefore, refrain from driving or operating machinery unless you are fully alert. Relugonat 120mg Tablet can competitively bind to pituitary GnRH receptors, thereby reducing the release of luteinising hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which results in a reduction of testosterone levels in men with prostate cancer.

Relugonat 120mg Tablet contains an active component called Relugolix, which belongs to a class of medicine called gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) receptor antagonists. It is used to treat adults with advanced hormone-sensitive prostate cancer.

Because long-term use of the drug may lead to decreased bone density in males due to the suppression of testosterone, inform your doctor if you are trying to become a father or use an effective contraceptive while under medication; it may cause fertility problems in males.
