The active ingredient in Tamodex 20 Tablet is Tamoxifen, which falls under the category of ‘anti-oestrogens.’ Certain types of breast cancer require oestrogen (the female sex hormone) for their growth. Tamodex 20 Tablet works by inhibiting the effects of oestrogen, thereby aiding in the treatment of breast cancer. Furthermore, Tamodex 20 Tablet is employed to lower the risk of developing breast cancer in women, particularly those with advancing age or specific personal and family medical histories.
