Tipanat 15 Tablet is a combination medication that includes Trifluridine, a nucleoside metabolic inhibitor, and Tipiracil, a thymidine phosphorylase inhibitor. It is prescribed for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer who have previously undergone other treatments, such as chemotherapy.

Tipanat 15 Tablet combines Trifluridine and Tipiracil. Trifluridine is classified as a thymidine-based nucleoside analogue, functioning by inhibiting the growth and division of cancer cells. Tipiracil, on the other hand, acts as a thymidine phosphorylase inhibitor, which helps to slow the breakdown of trifluridine in the body, allowing it to remain active longer and enhance its effectiveness against cancer cells.

It is important to take Tipanat 15 Tablet according to the dosage and duration prescribed by your doctor. Taking it with food at consistent times is advised to maximize its effectiveness. You may experience side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, headaches, excessive fatigue, and muscle or bone pain.
