Afanat 20mg Tablet is an anticancer medication that contains Afatinib dimaleate as its active component. It is prescribed for patients diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors exhibit specific (non-resistant) abnormal epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) genes, as well as for those with metastatic squamous NSCLC that has progressed following platinum-based chemotherapy. Cancer is characterized by the abnormal and uncontrolled proliferation of cells.
