Brexlieva 200mg Capsule contains Celecoxib as its active ingredient. This medication is classified under non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), specifically within the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitors subgroup. It is prescribed to adults for alleviating the signs and symptoms associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. In conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, the body may produce excess prostaglandins, leading to pain and inflammation. This medication functions by reducing the production of prostaglandins, thereby effectively alleviating pain and inflammation.

Do not take Brexlieva 200mg Capsule if you are allergic to Celecoxib or any of its components. Notify your doctor if you have had reactions to sulfonamide medications, suffer from ulcers or bleeding in the stomach or intestines, or have experienced adverse reactions to NSAIDs such as aspirin. It is crucial to inform your doctor before beginning treatment, as this medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Avoid using this medicine if you have severe liver or kidney disease, inflammatory intestinal conditions, or heart-related issues such as heart failure, heart disease, or circulation problems. Furthermore, if you have undergone surgeries on leg arteries or have a history of blood circulation issues, you should refrain from using this medication. This product contains lactose; if you are intolerant to sugar, consult your doctor prior to use. This medication is intended for adults only and is not suitable for children.

Make sure to inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach or intestinal ulcers or bleeding (avoid if currently present), are taking acetylsalicylic acid or antiplatelet therapies, use blood clotting or corticosteroid medications, or are concurrently using other non-acetylsalicylic NSAIDs like ibuprofen. Report to your doctor if you have conditions such as smoking, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, compromised heart, liver, or kidney function, fluid retention, dehydration, or a history of severe allergies.
