Cytlieva 100mg Injection contains the active ingredient Cytarabine. This antineoplastic medication falls under the antimetabolite category. It is utilized either alone or in combination with other chemotherapy agents to treat specific forms of leukemia (a blood cancer characterized by an excess of white blood cells), including acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). Additionally, it is indicated for use alone or alongside other chemotherapy drugs to treat and prevent meningeal leukemia (cancer affecting the membranes that protect the spinal cord and brain).

Do not use Cytlieva 100mg Injection if you are allergic to cytarabine or any other components of this medication. Notify your doctor if you experience coordination issues, are taking any other anti-cancer treatments, have reduced bone marrow function, liver problems, or have recently undergone dialysis before or after using this medication.

This medication may lead to elevated uric acid levels in your blood; your doctor will advise if you need to take any medication to manage this. Inform your physician if you experience sudden allergic reactions such as rashes, itching, or hives, swelling of the face, lips, mouth, or throat, shortness of breath, or wheezing. It is not known if this medication is safe for patients with kidney failure; please inform your doctor if you have any kidney conditions.
