Cytogem 1000mg Injection is a chemotherapy drug that contains gemcitabine as its active ingredient. It is indicated for the treatment of bladder cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer. Cancer is characterized by the uncontrolled and abnormal proliferation of cells. Consult your physician if you have a history of heart disease, liver issues, kidney problems, have recently undergone radiotherapy, or have been vaccinated prior to using this medication.
Cytogem 1000mg Injection is not suitable for adolescents and children under 18 years of age. Your healthcare provider will monitor your blood cell counts as well as your kidney and liver functions each time you receive this treatment. It is essential to use effective contraception during the course of treatment and for at least six months following the final dose. This injection may affect fertility in male patients. Men receiving this medication are advised against fathering a child during treatment and for six months afterward.
Inform your doctor if you are following a salt-restricted diet, as this medication contains sodium. If you experience shortness of breath, wheezing, changes in urine color or volume, bleeding, or upper abdominal pain while receiving Cytogem 1000mg injection, contact your physician immediately.
