Etovel 100mg injection is an anticancer medication containing Etoposide. It falls under the category of cytostatic drugs. This treatment is indicated for various cancers, including testicular cancer, small-cell lung cancer, acute myeloid leukemia (a type of blood cancer), lymphatic system tumors (such as Hodgkin’s lymphoma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma), and ovarian cancer in adults.

Consult your physician if you have undergone or are currently receiving radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Inform your doctor if you experience any infections or have low protein (albumin) levels in your blood. Etovel 100mg injection should not be administered if you have recently received a yellow fever vaccination or any live vaccines. Prior to commencing treatment with this medication, it is crucial to inform your healthcare provider of any past or present kidney issues or liver disorders.

Both men and women are advised to use effective contraception during treatment and for at least six months following the final dose. Men are specifically advised against fathering a child during this period and for six months thereafter. It is recommended to discuss any fertility concerns with your doctor. The administration of Etovel 100mg injection may lead to a decrease in blood cell levels, increasing the risk of infections. Therefore, your doctor may conduct regular blood tests to monitor your kidney and liver functions. The safety of this medication in children has not been established.
