Women of childbearing age are strongly advised to use effective contraception while taking this tablet to avoid pregnancy. Live vaccines should not be given to individuals taking Seromune 500mg, as the effectiveness of the vaccine may be diminished and there is an increased risk of infection. Patients on this medication should refrain from donating blood during treatment and for at least six weeks after discontinuation to ensure the drug is fully eliminated from the body before blood donation.

It is generally recommended to avoid this medication if you have an allergy to it or any of its components. Notify your healthcare provider if you have liver or heart disease prior to starting treatment. Since this drug suppresses the immune system, it may elevate the risk of skin cancer. Patients should take measures to minimize their exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet (UV) light. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any bruising, fever, unexplained fatigue, dizziness, jaundice, vision changes, decreased urine output, or seizures after taking this medication. Seromune 500mg tablet is an immunosuppressive drug that may impact the developing immune system of an infant and should be avoided during breastfeeding. In certain situations, alternative medications with a better safety profile for breastfeeding may be considered.
