Vorilieva 200mg Tablet is an antifungal medication that contains Voriconazole as its active ingredient. It is classified as a fungal ergosterol synthesis inhibitor. This drug is prescribed for severe, life-threatening fungal infections and is also used as a preventive treatment for individuals at high risk, such as those who have undergone bone marrow transplants.

This medication should not be administered to children under the age of 2.

Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Vorilieva 200mg Tablet or any of its other components. Prior to taking Vorilieva 200mg Tablet, it is essential to inform your doctor if you have experienced allergic reactions to other azole medications, have liver disease, or have a history of cardiomyopathy, irregular heartbeats, slow heart rate, or a condition known as ‘long QTc syndrome’ on your electrocardiogram (ECG). Furthermore, it is vital to avoid sun exposure during treatment, using protective clothing and high-SPF sunscreen. Children should also adhere to these precautions. Common side effects may include fever, rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, swelling of the limbs, abdominal pain, and difficulty breathing.

While taking Vorilieva 200mg Tablet, it is important to promptly notify your doctor if you experience sunburn, severe skin rash or blisters, bone pain, symptoms of adrenal insufficiency (such as chronic fatigue, muscle weakness, loss of appetite, weight loss, and abdominal pain), or signs of Cushing’s syndrome (including weight gain, fatty hump, round face, darkened skin, thinning skin, easy bruising, elevated blood sugar, excessive hair growth, and excessive sweating). Additionally, inform your doctor if you have a known intolerance to certain sugars before starting this medication, as it contains lactose.
