Xtide 160mg Tablet contains enzalutamide, an active ingredient classified as an androgen receptor inhibitor. This medication is prescribed for men diagnosed with prostate cancer. It is particularly effective for those with elevated testosterone levels, especially when previous treatments such as hormonal therapy or testosterone-reducing surgery have failed to completely eliminate the cancer.

Additionally, it is appropriate for treating metastatic prostate cancer, where the disease has spread beyond the prostate and responds to hormone therapy or testosterone-lowering surgical interventions. Xtide is also indicated for non-metastatic prostate cancer that is sensitive to castration (surgical removal of the testicles) but has a significant risk of metastasis and biochemical recurrence.

Patients should avoid taking Xtide 160mg Tablet if they have allergies to its active ingredients or any other components of the medication. It is not suitable for children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Men are advised to employ effective contraceptive measures during treatment and for three months following therapy, as the drug may pose risks to a developing fetus. It is important to inform your healthcare provider if you are pregnant or planning to conceive to discuss suitable contraceptive options. Monitoring of bone density is also recommended during treatment.

Prior to starting treatment, it is essential to inform your doctor about any existing infections or issues related to the kidneys, heart, or liver. Patients with ischemic heart disease should be closely monitored for potential risk factors. If you experience symptoms such as seizures, worsening headaches, disorientation, blindness, or any vision problems, contact your physician immediately. It is crucial to disclose all medications, including over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements, to your doctor before beginning therapy.
