It is essential to inform your healthcare provider if you have not yet reached menopause, as this medication is ineffective for premenopausal women. Due to its tendency to lower female reproductive hormone levels, it is not recommended for menstruating women, as it may lead to fertility complications. Monitoring your cholesterol levels is advisable, as this medication can increase cholesterol levels. Additionally, this medication may reduce bone mineral density; therefore, it is important to consult with your physician and consider regular monitoring of your bone health. Effective birth control is strongly recommended during the course of treatment and for at least three weeks following the final dose, as Letrafem Tablet can have implications for fertility when administered.
