Azoran Tablet is utilized to alleviate pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis and to prevent the immune system from attacking newly transplanted organs, such as kidneys. Additionally, it addresses pain and inflammation related to gastrointestinal disorders like Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis in patients who have received a kidney transplant.
The active ingredient in Azoran Tablet is ‘Azathioprine’, which functions by diminishing the activity of cells that cause inflammation, particularly in joint tissues. This action helps to reduce pain and inflammation while also slowing the progression of joint damage and disease over time. Furthermore, following an organ transplant, the body may attempt to reject the new organ, perceiving it as foreign. Azoran Tablet aids in preventing this rejection by suppressing the immune response.
Some individuals may encounter common side effects, including nausea, headaches, vomiting, diarrhea, unusual fatigue, dizziness, loss of appetite, elevated liver enzymes, decreased resistance to infections, tingling sensations, abdominal pain, leukopenia (a reduction in white blood cells), and sore throat. Most of these side effects are not serious and typically resolve on their own over time. However, it is recommended to consult your doctor if these side effects persist.
Take Azoran Tablet as directed by your healthcare provider. Your doctor will determine the appropriate frequency of dosage based on your medical condition. Azoran Tablet can be ingested with or without food. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
Avoid taking Azoran Tablet if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. It should also not be used by breastfeeding mothers, as it can transfer into breast milk. The safety and effectiveness of Azoran Tablet in children have not been established, so it should not be administered to them. Be sure to inform your doctor about your health status and any medications you are taking to avoid potential adverse effects.
