Clindatime-600 Injection 4 ml is classified as an ‘antibiotic’ and is primarily utilized for the treatment of severe bacterial infections, including lower respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, empyema, and lung abscess; gynecological infections like endometritis, non-gonococcal tubo-ovarian abscess, pelvic cellulitis, and postsurgical vaginal cuff infection; intra-abdominal infections; septicemia or sepsis (bacterial blood poisoning); as well as bone and joint infections. A bacterial infection arises when harmful bacteria proliferate within the body, leading to illness. These bacteria can infect any area of the body and can multiply rapidly.

Clindatime-600 Injection 4 ml contains ‘Clindamycin’, which functions by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby preventing bacterial growth. It exhibits a bacteriostatic effect that halts bacterial reproduction. Clindatime-600 Injection 4 ml is effective against infections caused by gram-positive and anaerobic bacteria, including susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Clostridium perfringens.

Clindatime-600 Injection 4 ml will be administered by a qualified healthcare professional. While Clindatime-600 Injection 4 ml may lead to side effects, not everyone experiences them. Common side effects include stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, heartburn, skin rash, pain and swelling at the injection site, and vaginal itching or discharge. Most of these side effects are mild and resolve on their own over time. If any side effects persist, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
