Heptral Tablet is utilized for treating depression, biliary cholangitis (an autoimmune liver disease), liver conditions resulting from cystic fibrosis, and to alleviate pain and swelling in the joints. Additionally, it is employed to manage liver disease during pregnancy and to enhance symptoms in individuals with fibromyalgia.

Heptral Tablet contains Ademetionine, a naturally occurring compound derived from methionine (an amino acid). This tablet helps maintain adequate levels of glutathione in the liver to reduce liver damage. It promotes cartilage production, diminishes inflammatory mediators, and possesses analgesic effects.

In certain instances, you may encounter common side effects such as abdominal discomfort, abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, dizziness, and insomnia. Most of these side effects are not serious and will gradually resolve on their own. However, consult your doctor if these symptoms persist.

Take Heptral Tablet as prescribed by your physician. It should be ingested with food to enhance absorption. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage and duration of treatment based on your specific condition. Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet.
