Imeg CKD 500mg tablet is an antidiabetic medication classified as a sodium-glucose cotransport-2 (SGLT-2) inhibitor, featuring the active component Imeglimin. It is primarily used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in individuals aged 18 and older. Diabetes mellitus is a long-term metabolic disorder marked by elevated blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia).

This medication is primarily effective in regulating high blood glucose (sugar) levels in those with type 2 diabetes. It should always be used alongside a proper diet and exercise regimen.
