Renolog Tablet

Renolog tablet is a dietary supplement that contains an active component known as Alpha Ketoanalogue. This medication falls under the category of amino acids. It is prescribed in conjunction with a protein-restricted diet to help slow the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD). The tablet alleviates uraemic symptoms (which arise from the buildup of nitrogenous waste products that the kidneys typically filter out), enhances nutritional health, and mitigates metabolic complications in patients with CKD. Its mechanism involves reducing urea concentrations in the bloodstream and decelerating the progression of kidney disease, thus postponing the necessity for long-term dialysis.

Do not take a Renolog tablet if you have an allergy to Alpha Ketoanalogue or any of its components. Refrain from using this medication if you suffer from hypercalcemia (elevated calcium levels) or experience irregular heartbeats, as the use of this medicine may lead to increased calcium levels in the blood and arrhythmias. Throughout the treatment, your physician may advise regular monitoring of your serum calcium levels. It is important to inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding prior to using this medication.
