Leuprosta Depot 11.25mg injection contains the active ingredient Leuprolide acetate. It is classified as a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist. This injection is used to treat prostate cancer in men, hormone-sensitive breast cancer, endometriosis (where tissue that typically lines the uterus grows outside of it), and uterine fibroids (noncancerous growths in the uterus) in women. Additionally, this medication is utilized for treating premature puberty, which involves early physical development in children due to hormonal imbalances.

Do not administer this injection if you are allergic to Leuprosta Depot 11.25mg or any of its components, including Goserelin and Triptorlin. Prior to receiving this medication, inform your healthcare provider if you have liver or kidney issues. Notify your doctor if you experience undiagnosed abnormal uterine bleeding. Avoid this treatment if you are pregnant or planning to conceive. During treatment, existing symptoms may intensify due to an increase in sex steroids in the body. Consult your physician for any additional concerns. Inform your doctor if your child has a progressive brain tumor.

Before commencing treatment, inform your doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions, such as diabetes, seizures, heart issues with chest pain, irregular heartbeats, depression, or if you are at a higher risk for bone thinning (osteoporosis). This medication is not advised for patients experiencing abnormal vaginal bleeding. If you are a woman of childbearing age, it is recommended to use non-hormonal contraceptives while receiving Leuprosta Depot 11.25mg injection. Notify your doctor if you are a man with urinary obstruction or have undergone surgery to remove your testicles. Inform your doctor if you experience pressure on the spinal cord along with urinary issues and hematuria (blood in the urine).
