ONCO-BCG

Onco BCG 40mg injection contains the active ingredient Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) strain. It is an anticancer drug classified under the category of vaccines, and it is used to treat bladder cancer (a type of cancer that originates in the cells of the bladder, a hollow organ in the lower abdomen).

Do not take this drug if you are allergic to it or any of its other ingredients. Report to your physician immediately if you experience any symptoms such as sudden difficulty in breathing, fever, redness or flushing of the skin, a rash, nausea, or vomiting after the administration of the injection. This medicine is not recommended for children and young people under 18 years of age. Use an effective method of contraception while being treated with this injection. Avoid pregnancy and breastfeeding during the treatment, as it can cause harm to the fetus.

This injection is contraindicated in individuals with a weakened immune system. As it contains live bacteria, it can potentially cause infections in immunocompromised individuals, such as those with HIV or cancer, or those receiving immunosuppressive therapy. Onco BCG 40mg injection may also not be recommended for individuals with a history of tuberculosis, as it may not be effective in preventing a new infection or could interfere with the diagnosis of a new infection
